Sugarhouse Farms
Sugarhouse Farms is a small-batch cannabis company based in Albany, New York. Creative Duke built their entire visual identity from the ground up, starting with a complete branding system anchored by a hand-drawn sketch of their historic farmhouse, through to product packaging design, website development, and professional product photography. The result was a brand that felt authentic, premium, and distinctly New York. That elaborate visual foundation allowed Sugarhouse to establish themselves as one of New York State's leading cannabis wholesalers, and their promotional branding assets gave them the presence to stand out at trade shows, expanding their brand recognition and client base across the state.

Sugarhouse Farms entered the newly regulated New York cannabis market with a strong product but no brand presence. In a competitive wholesale market where buyers judge credibility on sight, they needed a visual identity that communicated heritage, quality, and professionalism, all while meeting strict state packaging compliance requirements. They also needed a website capable of handling wholesale order requests and displaying lab results to licensed retailers.

Creative Duke developed a complete brand ecosystem for Sugarhouse Farms. The identity system was anchored by a custom illustration of their historic farmhouse, hand-sketched and refined into a circular emblem that became the centerpiece of the brand. We designed the full product packaging line including pre-roll tubes, multi-pack tins, and product labels, each incorporating the brand's signature gold and black color palette. The website was built to serve wholesale buyers directly, featuring a product catalog, lab results portal, and a structured order request form for licensed NYS retailers. Product photography was shot and edited to showcase the packaging in cinematic, editorial-style environments, from cave lit pedestal shots to smoke wrapped close-ups, creating assets that worked equally well on the website and at trade shows.
